Knoxville Horror Film Festival

Americans etc! Crazy For You just added another date to its festival tour, and will play at the Knoxville Horror Film Festival, in Knoxville, Tennessee, which runs from October 25th-27th (full schedule to follow).

The website with info is here - and you can preorder passes and/or posters, t-shirts, etc, at this link here. It's the next American date after Fantastic Fest, so hopefully will be nearer any of you who couldn't make one of the other screenings.

Fantastic Fest schedule

The schedule for Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas is now live, where Crazy For You is screening. If you're there, you will have two - count 'em, two! - chances to see it as part of the Short Fuse 2014 group:

Click here for the info page on the group of shorts. Even if you don't want to see mine, how can you not want to see Goat Witch, or He Took His Skin Off For Me??

I'm really sad to miss out on the festival, but producer extraordinaire Jen Handorf will be there, representing the short, so if you have ANY problems at all, go and tell her she's a horrible, horrible human being. Just tell her that anyway.* Hope you enjoy the short, and Fantastic Fest!

* Don't actually do this, she's lovely and brilliant and could probably beat you up.

Raindance Film Festival

Another festival update, CFY will be screening at this year's Raindance Film Festival in London, on Sunday October 5th, at 12pm.

It's part of the Shorts 18: Thrillers block, and the whole block is 108 minutes, but I'm not sure whereabouts it is in there - if you're attending, you need to book for the whole block, so you'll see it anyway. The block costs £12, if you fancy going, and it's at the Vue Piccadilly (formerly the Apollo), on Lower Regent Street.

The info page and ticket details are here - if you're coming along, I'll see you there!

Fantastic Fest ahoy!

It's up on their site now, so I can finally tell you that Crazy For You will be playing at this year's Fantastic Fest, in Austin, Texas!

All of my work has played there so far, making that and FrightFest the only two festivals that have screened all of my film work. It's a great festival, run by lovely people, and I can't wait to hear what the audiences make of this short.

I can't make it over there this time, flights are too pricey to justify, and I have a script deadline at the end of this month, but producer extraordinaire Jen Handorf will be there to represent the short, and I *think* will be doing a q&a if there is one.

Screening dates and times will be announced soon, but the short is part of a selection called Short Fuse 2014, so that's the one you should keep an eye on.
